Dolphin House sale agreed

Dolphin House – one of the best-known buildings in Diss – has been sold.

The site had been due to come up for auction later this month, however, a spokesman for Auction House East Anglia confirmed on Wednesday it had been sold prior to the auction.

The Grade II* listed building, possibly a wool merchant’s house in the past and a pub up until the 1960s, had been offered at a guide price of £240,000.
