The traditions of a funeral may be familiar to many, but for children, it can be an alien experience.
Rosedale Funeral Home, which has branches including in Diss and Attleborough, has commissioned a special doll’s house-style church designed to explain to recently bereaved children what happens during a funeral.
It will be donated to Nelson’s Journey a charity which supports recently bereaved children. It is a fully fitted out church, and even includes a set of characters and limousine with coffin and is designed to take the potentially scary uncertainties away from a funeral occasion.
