Regular train lines at Diss railway station were disrupted this morning after a tree branch fell on electrical wires hanging over the track.

Services travelling to London via Norwich experienced delays from 7pm onwards, while some trains going the other way were terminated early.

Network rail staff removed the debris on the wires between 10.30am and 11am, allowing lines to re-open, although Abellio Greater Anglia stated residual delays and cancellations were still possible.
