The railway station in Diss has achieved the best possible scores in a recent mystery shopping exercise, exceeding new targets for service quality set as part of the new Greater Anglia franchise.
The station, located on the mainline from Norwich to London, scored per cent in every one of the 15 criteria used to assess the presentation of the station facilities.
Mystery shoppers scored the station on criteria such as the upkeep of the station buildings, the amount of litter in the station, cleanliness of the toilets, clarity of announcements and the ticket facilities.
Andrew Goodrum, Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director, said: “I would like to congratulate the team at Diss who are working hard to provide excellent service and facilities for passengers.
“From the moment customers begin their journey with us, we want that to be the best possible experience.”
