Diss pre-loved clothes shop looks like perfect fit for pair
If you are looking for a treasure trove of pre-loved clothes and accessories, a new shop in Diss might be right up your street.
Caitlin Seale and Hannah Sidgwick, both 25, became best friends when they met studying fashion design at Norwich University of the Arts in 2012.
Having worked within small independent fashion companies and around sustainable fashion and styling, they decided to open the Take Two Dress Agency and Preloved Boutique in Mere Street, on Saturday – and have already had rave reviews from customers about their new venture.
Caitlin said: “Setting up a pre-loved boutique together is something we have always dreamed of doing and now seemed like the right time to do it, otherwise a dream is all it would have been. So we just took the risk, did it and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.”
The pair thought Diss was the perfect place to set up shop.
Caitlin said: “There is a real sense of community, which is something we love. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received from the community, the positive feedback on the shop and us opening has been incredible.
“We have already had lots of amazing pieces of clothing brought in that are ready to be loved by someone else.
“Everyone loves the concept of being able to sell their items or shop for new ones. We are so excited to see what this venture holds.”
The Take Two Dress Agency and Preloved Boutique, which buys and sells pre-loved clothes and accessories, from high street brands to designer pieces, is open between Monday and Saturday, from 10am to 4.30pm.
