A 43-year-old man from Diss has escaped unhurt from a crash in Cambridgeshire which killed a motorcyclist.

A 60-year-old man from Whittlesey was riding a 1000cc blue and white Suzuki GSXR motorbike, which was in collision with a black Volkswagen Golf car at about 10.20am tolday in Glatton Ways, about half way between the A1 and Glatton.

The rider sustained serious injuries and later died in hospital.
