Diss man among pair jailed for conspiring to supply crack cocaine
Two men, including one from Diss, have been jailed for for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in Norfolk.
Luke Bush, 32, of Sunnyside was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Norwich Crown court yesterday for conspiring to supply crack cocaine between April 1, 2020, and April 24, 2020.
Ben Noller, 34, of Cyril Child Close, Colchester, was also sentenced, to eight years in prison, for conspiring to supply crack cocaine between the same dates.
Both pleaded guilty at a previous hearing.
On April 3 last year, officers witnessed suspicious activity just off Union Road at Wortham Ling.
Noller was the driver of a car and following a search, officer seized a quantity of crack cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.
Officers arrested Noller on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and was later released under investigation whilst officers made further enquiries.
During analysis of the mobile phone, officers found regular text conversations between Noller and Bush indicating the transportation of drugs.
On April 23, officers stopped a car in Elms Close, Great Barton.
The driver was identified as Noller and he was found in possession of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of between £100,000 and £350,000.
A mobile phone was also seized and later analysis found calls being made between Noller and Bush.
Officers later attended the address of Bush in Sunnyside, and arrested him on suspicion of conspiring to supply Class A drugs. Officers also seized cocaine from the address.
