A householder disturbed two burglars as they ransacked his Diss home.

It happened at a house in Frenze Road on Friday, January 8, at about 1.30pm.

Two men broke into the property by forcing open a living room window, before making off with a watch, two laptops and a purse.

The householder disturbed one of the suspects as he walked upstairs, causing both suspects to flee the scene.

The suspects were seen to run towards Frenze Hall Lane; one suspect was wearing a jacket which had a red patch on the back while the second suspect was wearing a cap.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said the road was busy with traffic at the time, and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the two men acting suspiciously in the area.

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Scott Malcolmson at Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
