The streets of Diss were packed with deep sea characters, imaginative floats and eager onlookers as the Diss Town Carnival paraded through the town on Sunday.

This year, the carnival had a Water Wonderland theme and offered a range of seafaring activities for visitors to enjoy.

The day's events started at 12.30pm with a procession departing from Diss High School. The procession travelled down Mount Street, through Market Place and Mere Street, before turning at the Morrisons roundabout to reach Diss Park.

Following a welcome from Park Radio at 1pm, carnival goers enjoyed performances from ACD Arts Dancers, a selection of carnival games, dog shows, a Jedi Academy, a Cadets Drill Off, and much more.
