Diss Cyclathon launches Christmas voucher card

One of Diss’ most successful events has launched a new voucher scheme for Christmas.

The team behind Diss Cyclathon has produced a voucher, which can be given as Christmas presents, for anyone wanting to enter the event next year.

The vouchers cost £5, £15, £20 and £25, which equate to the distances people can choose in the event, which last year won Best Cycling Event in Cycling UK’s Volunteer of the Year Awards.

“It means we’ll be able to advertise our event to Cycling UK’s membership, which stands at 63,000 people,” said organiser Alan Franks.

“We have already had some inquires from as far away as Dorset.

“We hope the vouchers will encourage people to take up their place early and also make nice Christmas presents.”

Diss Cyclathon is a family fun day for cyclists and will take place on June 23.

The vouchers can be purchased from Diss Corn Hall and Madgetts Cycles.
