The 1st Dickleburgh Sea Scouts embarked on a successful expedition to the Pennines in Yorkshire during the recent school half-term week.

Scouts hiked with maps and a compass in teams over the moors and high ground, taking in sights such as Simon’s Seat above Bolton Abbey, Malham Cove and Malham Tarn,

They later rounded out the week with a change of scene from on the water to underground, setting off on caving activities near Ribblehead, led by a qualified instructor.
