Dickleburgh pupils lead anti-litter scheme

Children at Dickleburgh Primary School have been teaching the adults a lesson on littering, via a campaign to encourage people to look after the area.

Pupils aged from five to 11 took part in a contest to devise the best slogan against littering, with Lily Gould chosen as the winner for ‘Every Time You Litter, You Could Kill A Critter.’

Parish councillor Sam Johnson said: “The children have come up with brilliant, original ideas. They’ve been a credit to themselves and the school.”
