The A140 at Long Stratton was blocked for more than two hours after a digger fell off the back of a lorry whilst it was being unloaded last night.

The whole road had to be closed as a result of the incident, which happened at about 5.17pm on the Diss-bound carriageway.

One lane eventually reopened at 7.45pm, while the lorry driver sustained minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Police said it would be investigated by the Health and Safety Executive.
