The Government are to announce next week that all pupils will be able to return to school in September and social distancing measures inside schools will be scrapped entirely, according to The Telegraph.

More than 100,000 asked to self isolate

In the past three weeks, 114,000 people have been asked to stay at home and self isolate as part of the NHS Test and Trace service, after having close contact with somebody who has tested positive for Covid-19.

WHO boss says Covid cases have risen following easing of restrictions

The World Health Organization's regional director for Europe, Hans Kluge, has told reporters that Europe has seen a surge of Covid-19 cases since countries began easing restrictions.

"Thirty countries have seen increases in new cumulative cases over the past two weeks. In 11 of these countries, accelerated transmission has led to very significant resurgence that if left unchecked will push health systems to the brink once again in Europe," he told the AFP.
