Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after collision with Land Rover in Bunwell
A cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries following a serious village collision.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened today (December 20) at 8.10am, in Bunwell Street, Bunwell, at the junction with Church Lane and involved a blue Land Rover Defender and a red bike.
The road was closed while emergency services, including ambulance, attended the scene.
The cyclist was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and the road was reopened at 2.30pm.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch via the following channels quoting reference NC-20122024-68.
