Crews from Norfolk and Suffolk battle Bedingfield fire

Seven vehicles from Norfolk and Suffolk battled a large stubble fire in Bedingfield earlier today.

The incident happened at a 128-acre field in Hall Road, shortly before noon.

Crews from Diss, Harleston, Debenham, Framlingham and Leiston were all in attendance.

No one is reported to have been hurt in the incident.

The fire was put out at about 1.30pm and firefighters remain at the scene, dampening down.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the farmer assisted the crews in putting out the blaze.
