Couple brings personal touch to baby gifts with new We Three Bears shop in Attleborough
A husband-and-wife team have thanked their local community for welcoming them to the high street after opening a new shop specialising in personalised baby gifts.
Paul and Jes Anderson opened We Three Bears in Church Street, Attleborough, on August 31, offering clothing, gifts and accessories.
While the business has now found a permanent home, We Three Bears actually celebrated its seventh birthday this week.
Mr Anderson said: “Jes started the business when our two children were young.
“She wanted something she could do from home and is very design-minded, so wanted to do something with those skills.”
The pair, who have 12-year-old Sophie and Teddy, who is 10, moved from Kent just over a year ago when Mr Anderson, who ran a gun shop in the south east for 17 years, had the opportunity to buy a premises.
“We moved up for that business opportunity, but when that fell through about four months ago, we decided to expand We Three Bears, as the online part of the business was continuing to grow.”
The shop, which has embroidery and laser engraving machines on site, welcomed customers with an opening event at the end of the month.
“It was a really great event and, since then, we have been so busy and met a lot of people, which is good,” said Mr Anderson.
“We have also had so many people coming in, wishing us luck and saying that it is so good to have a shop like this back on the high street.
“The town is a fantastic place and we wish we had moved here and done this sooner.
“We would like to thank everyone for a warm welcome to the high street and for all the support that customers and well-wishers have given us.
“We have even had other business owners come in and say hello, which has been really nice.”
We Three Bears is open from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm, and on Saturdays, between 9am and 1pm.
