Coronavirus mobile testing centre in Diss for essential workers

This afternoon, the NHS announced a number of temporary mobile testing centres in the area for essential workers, including one in Diss which is available tomorrow (May 1) only.

The exact location of the mobile testing centre has not been disclosed, but key workers can find out by applying through the national portal.

If key workers cannot make it to the mobile testing by Friday, a number of other mobile testing centres will be available in the area throughout the week.

The locations for the testing centres for essential workers are below. Once you have booked your appointment through the national portal, you will be told exactly where the mobile testing centres have been set up.

• Diss – Friday 1 May.
• Lowestoft – Friday May 1 and Saturday May 2.
• Thetford – Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3.
• Cromer – Monday May 4.
• Fakenham – Tuesday May 5.
