Coronavirus daily: UK's confirmed cases sees biggest rise so far

LEARN MOREThe numbers of confirmed cases in Norfolk and Suffolk rose again, with the UK also seeing its biggest number of confirmed cases so far.
Public Health England figures for Tuesday showed UK cases up to 8,077 compared to 6,650 the previous day and 5,683 on Sunday.
In Norfolk, the number of cases jumped from 35 to 42 and in Suffolk six more cases were confirmed, bringing the number to 28.
Deaths from the virus also rose, from 335 to 422, with one of those being a West Suffolk Hospital patient, who was in his 70s and had underlying health issues.
Norfolk's confirmed coronavirus count now match Stockport and Leeds, with Suffolk one below Portsmouth.
