Coronavirus Daily: Public urged to stay closer to home to enjoy the weather
With the weather set to be good this weekend, the public is being urged not to go to beaches and country parks, even with the easing of lockdown measures.
It is believed that around 15m trips to the coasts and our woodlands could be made this weekend.
Now that the public can do unlimited exercise outdoors and they can go anywhere in England to do it, it is feared this could cause a raise in the R rate, which is the rate of infection, to one or more.
This could see the previous level of lockdown brought back.
Yesterday's figures from Public Health England showed Norfolk's confirmed positive cases over the previous 24-hour period had risen by 39, with a total so far of 1,983 and Suffolk with 21 new cases, taking its total to 1,347.
Figures also showed a slight rise in the daily UK figures for confirmed cases, going from 3,446 in the previous reported period to 3,560.
The total number of laboratory confirmed cases of the virus in the UK now stands at 236,711
