Coronavirus Daily: PM set to head meeting today about the next step
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will today be looking at the country's lockdown measures during a cabinet meeting.
It has been hinted that some rules could be eased from Monday.
Mr Johnson will brief the nation on the decisions and the next stage of lockdown at the government's daily briefing on Sunday.
Figures from Public Health England yesterday, which now includes counts of all deaths where a positive test for COVID-19 has been confirmed, reported 649 deaths in the last reported 24-hour.
Norfolk now has had a total of 1,773 confirmed cases so far, with Suffolk's total so far at 1,159 and the UK's total daily confirmed count was 6,111.
The total number of laboratory confirmed cases of the virus in the UK so far stands at 201,101.
