Coronavirus daily: Numbers rise as tougher measures come in
As the country was put into lockdown last night, the number of confirmed cases in Norfolk and Suffolk rose again.
Public Health England figures for Monday show another person was confirmed to have coronavirus in Norfolk yesterday, putting the county's number to 35.
Suffolk saw four more confirmed so its number of confirmed cases there stands at 22.
Deaths from the virus also rose, from 281 to 335 with the UK's confirmed cases up to 6,650 from 5,683.
The daily confirmed cases in the UK also went up to up to 967, which was at 665 on Sunday and 1,000 on Saturday.
Norfolk's confirmed coronavirus count now match Leeds and Liverpool, with Suffolk matching Slough and Leicester.
