Coronavirus daily: Norfolk and Suffolk see steep rises in confirmed cases
With the news that prime minister Boris Johnson and health secretary Matt Hancock have both tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24-hour period, the UK's confirmed count of cases is now at 2,885.
Public Health England figures today also show that the total amount of UK cases has now gone up from 11,658 to 14,543.
England has had 12,288 cases, Scotland 1,059, Wales 921 and Northern Ireland 275.
In Norfolk, the number of cases has also seen a steep rise from 51 to 70 now and Suffolk has gone from 42 to 61.
Deaths from the virus is now at 759, with 181 from the last 24-hour period.
