Coronavirus Daily: Norfolk and Suffolk report same numbers as government says test and trace system a success

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has hailed the government's coronavirus test and trace scheme that was launched last week as a success, even though he could not give specific figures when questioned.

Since it started, Mr Hancock said that the vast majority of people that had been near new coronavirus cases had been called and were complying

He said: "Those who are asked to isolate by the contact tracers are expressing the willingness to do so and we track that very carefully."
