Coronavirus Daily: Hospitals report weekly figures as Norfolk records no new daily cases
Norfolk and Norwich Hospital has reported it currently only has three patients in its hospital that are positive with covid-19, while 16 people who have had the virus are now recovering in hospital.
Also, the hospital recorded that 288 patients had returned to their homes to continue their recoveries.
In West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds, they had admitted 247 patients in total for treatment who have tested positive for covid-19 since the pandemic began.
From those, 127 were discharged, after recovering well enough to go home and 77 patients had died.
Yesterday's figures from Public Health England showed Norfolk had no new daily positive cases over the last reported 24-hours, keeping its total so far to 2,230, and Suffolk's total so far was 1,545.
The UK's daily confirmed cases have seen a slight drop to 1,056, with the overall count of cases in the UK so far at 296,857 and the daily death figure was 38.
