Coronavirus Daily: Dentists reopen as Norfolk and Suffolk register same number of daily cases




Some dentists in England will reopen from today, as long as safety measures are in place to protect patients and themselves.

It is believed that around one in three will open after the announcement on May 29, and that this will stop some people from performing their own dentistry at home.

Since March 25, all routine dental care in the country had been put on lockdown.

Yesterday's figures from Public Health England showed Norfolk had five daily positive cases over the last reported 24-hours, taking its total so far to 2,210, with Suffolk also reporting five new cases, with a total of 1,539.

The UK's daily confirmed cases was 1,326, with the overall count now at 284,868 and the number of daily deaths was 77- the lowest figure since lockdown began.
