Collision involving car and lamp post causes disruption in Victoria Road, Diss




A single vehicle collision hitting a lamp post saw a Diss road blocked last night as a number of emergency services attended.

Norfolk Police, the ambulance service and fire units from Diss and East Harling were at the scene in Victoria Road at around 5.40pm.

A Norfolk Constabulary spokesperson said they had attended following reports of a single vehicle collision with a lamp post.

There were no details of any injuries, but Norfolk Fire and Rescue made the scene safe and left at 6.30pm, with the road being fully cleared by police at 7.30pm.
