Harleston Pavement artist family spread joy within community while raising money for charity
Four family members have been spreading happiness and raising money for charity through producing chalk pictures on pavements.
Simon Bobby, 41, and Anita Vigrass, 43, have been creating their chalk art with sons Henry, four, and Hector, one.
The family, from Tudor Rose Way in Harleston, have been producing chalk artwork in neighbouring streets throughout lockdown and recently obtained permission to create them in town.
Mr Bobby said: “We’ve done superheroes, sharks, a dinosaur eating an ice cream and even turned some into interactive games or assault courses.
“Passers-by encouraged us to use them to raise money and we started by raising £800 for UK zoos, and we’re now chalking positive messages to raise money for Mind.”
The family, who use washable chalk for their designs, have a dedicated webpage right here, where donations can be made.
