A chainsaw has been stolen during a burglary in Roydon, prompting police to appeal for information.

The incident happened overnight on Tuesday, March 28 in Bellrope Lane. A unknown number of suspects broke into a garage, making off with a chainsaw.

Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to contact police on 101.

Police are still appealing for information after another burglary in Roydon, where £1,000 worth of power tools were taken from a works van on Tuesday night.
