De Lucy Care Home gives support to Diss Town Youth FC’s Under 15s




A Diss care home has put its name to a youth football team by becoming its kit sponsor.

De Lucy House Care Home in Victoria Road has put their name behind the Under 15s squad of Diss Town Youth FC.

Lauren Tubby, the home’s manager, visited the team on November 17, at their Bressingham Playing Field ground in High Road along with resident John Elliott.

She said: “The residents and staff of De Lucy House are very proud to be sponsors of the Under 15s kit, supporting the youth of today.

“We wish them all the best of luck for the season.”

Mark Burrows, of the Under 15s, thanked the home for its support of his players.

“We are hugely grateful to De Lucy House for sponsoring our new kits. We are proud to be partnered with them and really enjoy the residents coming to watch our home games.”

The club has been fundraising to raise £30,000 to fully revamp the ground.
