Diss car park catalytic converter takes place in broad daylight on Park Road and is latest in 48-hour spate of similar offences




A car has been targeted in a theft incident in a car park in Diss.

The silver car was parked in South Norfolk Council car park in Park Road when the catalytic converter was removed between 11.30am and 2.30pm on July 29.

This incident followed on from four very similar offences which took place across the region in Masefield Walk, Thetford, Kirby Road and Whitlingham Lane in Trowse and Dereham Road in Norwich over the previous 48 hours.

Norfolk Police have asked anyone with information relating to these thefts, or footage from CCTV cameras to get in touch, quoting the crime reference number of 36/51359/20 for the incident in Diss.
