Car left upside down on A11 Stag roundabout at Attleborough after crash




A driver and a passenger sustained serious injuries after their car collided with an A11 roundabout and overturned on top of it

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident, which involved a grey BMW 320D, at The Stag roundabout in Attleborough at 6.50pm yesterday.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.

Fire crews from Attleborough, Wymondham, East Harling and Thetford used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the pair from the vehicle.

Both were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving prior to the incident.
