Car blaze in Thrandeston

Nobody has been reported to have been hurt after a car blaze in Thrandeston this morning.

It happened in Mellis Road, at about 11.18am.

A fire crew from Diss arrived at the scene at 11.41am to find the vehicle “well alight”, according to a Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.

The crew used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, which was under control by 11.58.
