Possible fire at Barningham ANL-140415-110141001

Diss historian and regular Diss Express contributer Dennis Cross needs some help with this picture.

This scene is probably taken in or near Barningham.

The signpost on the left may not be clear, but viewed on a computer screen, is to Hepworth and Hopton.

The scene shows what could be firemen with a fire appliance on the left of shot. On the right of the picture is possibly two horse-drawn fire appliances coming up the road.

There is what looks to be a pub sign on the right of the shot, down the road, but the wording is not visible.

Many people are turning to look at the fire appliances as they come up the road. Was there a fire in progress?
