A143 in Stuston, near Diss, shut after lorry overturns on A140 roundabout

A busy road is closed after a lorry overturned on a roundabout.

Suffolk Police posted on X at 11.12am saying the A143 in Stuston, near Diss, is shut after the vehicle overturned at the A140 roundabout.

Traffic is being held and motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

A police spokesperson said recovery for the vehicle has arrived at the scene and they hope to open one lane of the roundabout soon, but there is no definite time for this.

Suffolk Highways has also been notified as a lamppost has come down as a result of the incident.

The ambulance service was called to the scene but no injuries have been reported.
