Burston Crown landlord sculpts impressive crocodile out of snow
Following the heavy snowfall last week, many residents tried their hand at some snow-artistry, but you would be hard pressed to find any more impressive to the one sitting outside the Burston Crown, in Burston.
Using kitchen utensils from her home above the pub, in Mill Road, 51-year-old Bev Kembery spent almost six hours last Monday and Tuesday sculpting a croc so lifelike you would think it crawled over from Banham Zoo.
“I’ve always loved making snowmen, but I’d never done a crocodile before,” she said.
“The method is pretty simple, I just make a big block and sculpt it from there. I was absolutely frozen – everyone thought I was a bit mad.”
Despite being closed, the pub is still offering a deli service to residents in the area. To find out more, click here.
