Burglars steal cash and jewellery from property in East Harling

A householder came home to find two men at the back of the house and cash and jewellery missing.

Police said the duo made excuses for their presence, before leaving the scene in East Harling.

The owner then discovered a rear window of the property in Gallants Lane had been smashed and a quantity of money and jewellery were missing.

The burglary happened at approximately 2.50pm on Wednesday, April 17.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time who may have seen any suspicious activity.

Anybody with any information about the break-in should call Detective Constable Alex Gilmour at Thetford CID on 101.
