An interiors business based in Bressingham will represent the UK on the international stage, after winning a national award following its contribution to a prominent Norfolk tower block.

Swank Interiors, which operates out of Three Gates Farm in Fen Street, received the award for Best Interior Design Apartment in the East of England, during the UK portion of the 2015 International Property Awards in London earlier this month.

The company was chosen by an expert panel of judges for its work on the The Penthouse at Westlegate Tower, one of the tallest residential buildings in Norwich, and will now compete with other designs in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas and the Caribbean for the coveted accolade of World’s Best Apartment.

Lanassir Lawes, the director of Swank Interiors, said, “It is amazing for our design work to be recognised in this way.

“We are now keeping our fingers crossed that we can be successful in representing the UK for a global award.

“The team is incredibly proud of the look we created at The Penthouse, creating an apartment with the country interior our client wanted whilst making the most of its contemporary city centre location.”

Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, added: “Once again, the United Kingdom’s property professionals have excelled in every single category.”

The internaitonal presentation ceremony will be in London on December 7.
