BREAKING: Plan for 142 homes in Diss rejected by South Norfolk Council
A planning application for 142 homes in Diss has today been refused by South Norfolk Council.
The district council’s Development Management Committee went against the approval recommendation from officers earlier this month, turning down the plan on the grounds of poor design, and the form, bulk and massing of the plots.
The application, submitted by Persimmon Homes for land north of Frenze Hall Lane, had drawn much concern in Diss, including residents, the town council, South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon, and the Parish Fields Practice Patient Participation Group.
For reaction and more, see Friday’s print edition of the Diss Express.
