Community groups in south Norfolk have been boosted thanks to funding from local district councillors.
The funding is allocated by South Norfolk Councillors, with each Councillor having £1,000 to help support projects in their ward and each of the five Neighbourhood Chairman having £30,000, this year, to help fund larger scale projects. South Norfolk Council Chairman David Bills said: “Whether it’s getting a project off the ground, paying for sports equipment, or supporting activities for the elderly, then it’s likely we can help.”
Last year councillors supported more than 175 projects.
