Diss Publishing hosts David Oates book signing for The Dream Hoarder

Diss Publishing in Mere Street welcomed Redgrave author David Oates for a book signing of his newest children's book, The Dream Hoarder.

David who illustrated this and the previous book in the series, The Imagination Thief, teaches Year 5 and 6 pupils at Hopton Primary School.

The books follow siblings Eva and Toby and this time someone is stealing people’s dreams.

It is up to the pair, with new friend Grace in tow, to return to the land of imagination and save the day.

On the new publication, David said: "At the book signing I did manage to introduce a few new readers to the series.

"Also, with the the book featuring a deaf character, I know that one school in Suffolk has made it part of their reading display so that’s a lovely bit of praise."

There is a third book in the series on the way, called ‘The Joy Stealers’, which will be available next year.

Released in February, The Dream Hoarder is published by Emira Press and can be bought from Amazon in paperback for £6, along with being available from Diss Publishing.
