Bomb squad called to Attleborough building site after reports of grenade

A bomb squad was called to a building site in Attleborough last Thursday after reports a grenade may have been found.

The site, off London Road and close to the junction with New Road, was cordoned off by 1pm.

An EOD regiment of the British Army took away the item, with the site opened again by 4.20pm.
