Diss and District Horticultural Society’s spring show breaks attendance records
Flowers fans were full with the joys of spring as record numbers embraced the sunny weather to visit a horticultural society’s flower show at last weekend.
Diss and District Horticultural Society threw open the doors of Roydon Village Hall on Saturday as its spring flower show made a truimphant return.
Speaking to the Diss Express, society secretary Graham Pettitt said: “It was very satisfying to see such a successful show.
“I would take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked hard to stage the show, the exhibitors for their efforts in participating and entering, without whom there would not be a show and, finally, the public for their record attendance and supporting us again.”
