Birmingham man charged in connection with theft from Diss jewellers

A man from Birmingham has been charged in connection with a theft from a Diss jewellers.

Phillip Ellis, aged 37 and of Ribblesdale Road, has been charged with theft from a shop, following an incident at premises in Market Place, Diss, shortly after 1pm on Saturday, September 9.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday).
