Barn blaze in Earl Stonham

A fire broke out at a barn in Earl Stonham this afternoon.

It happened at an address in Fen Lane just before 12.30pm.

A crew from Stowmarket and a standby crew from Debenham were dispatched to the incident.

On arrival, another crew from Princes Street, Ipswich, was called to attend.

Firefighters used a hose reel and one main jet to extinguish the blaze, and by about 1.45pm the incident was under control.

Fire crews left the scene at 2.40pm.
