Banham fundraiser in memory of Sonia Alexander who died from cystic fibrosis

Banham Community Centre is staging an auction to raise money for charity, in aid of Sonia Alexander, who died in August of last year from cystic fibrosis, aged 23.

Taking place tomorrow, there will be live music from the Late Breakers and Phat, food, craft stalls and an auction.

Some of the items up for auction include a rear wing end from the 2009 RB5 formula one car signed by world champion Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, and a pair of tickets to see Norwich City take on Premier League leaders Liverpool at Carrow Road on April 20. Money raised will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Doors open at 5pm, with the first event - a magic show - starting at 5.30pm.

Tickets, priced £8 for adults, £3 for children, or £20 for a family of four, includes a hot buffet, which is being served at around 6.30pm. Tickets can be purchased during the day from Banham Post Office, in the evenings from Banham Community Centre, or by calling Peter Lawton on 01953 888860 or 07779 901627, or Kate Lawton on 07944 930431.
