Banham chimney blaze battled by crew

A fire crew from Attleborough was called to a chimney blaze in Banham yesterday evening.

It happened at about 5.17pm at a property off Banham Road.

The crew had the fire under control in about 25 minutes.

They used chimney equipment and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the blaze, as well as a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

No one was reported hurt in the incident.
