Appeal launched after lorry driver has ‘suspected medical episode’ on A11




An appeal for witnesses following a lorry collision on the A11 has been launched.

The incident happened on Friday, at 5.09pm, when a lorry travelling northbound from Thetford left the road and came to a stop on the roundabout with the A1075.

Emergency services attended the scene and treated the driver, who was found unresponsive in the cab following a suspected medical episode.

The driver was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where he remains.

The road was closed while emergency services were on scene and it reopened at 8.22pm the same day.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
