A preparatory school located near Diss is celebrating its long history on Sunday after urging alumni from the last 70 years to come together for an informal reunion.
Riddlesworth Hall Preparatory School has invited former pupils, staff and parents to attend a gathering from 2pm until 6pm at the school, in order to share experiences and catch up with old friends, amidst interludes for musical entertainment.
The school, which caters to children aged between two and 13 years, and provides boarding for those between seven and 13 years old, initially formed back in 1946, after the evacuation of Felixstowe College during the Second World War.
Functioning as an all-girls establishment until it became co-ed in 2000, it has a number of famous alumni, most notably Lady Diana Spencer and her sister Lady Sarah McCorqudale, who attended in the early 1970s.
