A-Level Results Day 2019: Eye, Diss, Framlingham and Attleborough

The wait is over for hundreds of Norfolk and Suffolk students who were collecting their A-level results this morning.

Schools across Norfolk and Suffolk have revealed their pass rates but, if you haven't got the grades you were hoping for, there are still plenty of options available, as our interactive guide shows.

Below is also a full list of the school results (click on the school names for individual stories).

County education chiefs are also encouraging students to enjoy their success and consider their options.

Cllr John Fisher said: “Congratulations to all the students receiving their A Level results today. Their achievements are down to months of hard work, and the support from families and teachers across the county.”

“The best of luck to those students who will be heading to the university of their choice. For those who haven’t received the results they hoped for, there are plenty of options out there. This could mean heading to a different university, studying a new course or starting their working life with an apprenticeship.”

At Diss High School 85 per cent of students have achieved grades from A* to C and a pass rate of more than 99 per cent.

At Attleborough Academy Norfolk 52 students sat A-levels with 63 per cent of them obtaining grades from A* to C, the overall pass rate was 98 per cent.

In Eye, Hartismere School’s sixth form said its 66 students had achieved a pass rate of 99.3 per cent this year, with 89 per cent achieving A* to C grades.

Students and staff at Thomas Mills High School are celebrating another excellent set of A-level results, with an overall pass rate of 98 per cent and 76 per cent of students obtaining grades from A* to C.
